Cinnamon Toast Sugar Scrub Foam starts out as a scrub, but when mixed with water and gently massaged into the skin transforms into a regular foam cleanser
That means you can use it both ways. if you prefer to use it as a foam cleanser, simply dissolve and melt the sugar crystals in your hands first, and then apply the foam leftover to your face.
Is it Harsh or Abrasive?
No, because you choose how abrasive you want the scrub to be.
The product is 100% customizable at every cleanse. So you choose exactly how you want to use it and customize it for your skin.
If you prefer a gentler foam, simply add water to the product on your hand and use it to dissolve the sugar crystals. Dissolve them in your hands to your desired level of grittiness.
If you don't want to use the product as a scrub at all, or have sensitive skin:
- Completely dissolve the sugar crystals in your hands first.
- Then, apply the leftover foam to a lightly damp face.
Another tip: Make sure you shake the tube before each use to disperse the sugar crystals as well. Because sugar is the heaviest part of the formula, they tend to pool together at the tip of the tube (which is at the bottom). Alternatively, leave the product on its side while storing it.
Is it Tested on Animals?
