General Terms & Conditions
1. Defective items or items that were broken in transit can be returned within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with unbroken seals, where relevant.
2. We do not offer refunds on unwanted, opened or used products, or change of mind purchases after the order has been picked for processing by our warehouse. Please make sure you check your order carefully before submitting it. If you are unsure which products will work best for your skin, please get in touch with our team for a 1:1 consultation to choose your perfect products together.
3. All items that are discounted or marked down are final purchase (except in the case of defects described above at 1).
4. Coupon discounts as well as shipping and handling fees from the original shipment to the customer are not refundable unless the items were defective.
5. If the order originally qualified for free shipping, the real shipping cost will be deducted from any store credit to be reimbursed to the customer unless the items were defective.
6. If items are returned to us for any reason other than 1, above, we will charge a $20 re-shelving fee. This will also be to cover any fees incurred by our e-commerce provider and payment gateway providers.
7. Any cost of re-shipping items from the customer back to us will be deducted from any refund.
8. STYLE STORY reserves the right to change our return policies and/or reject any exchange requests for any reason without prior notice. Should there be any dispute, STYLE STORY’s decision will be final.
Defective Item Exchange
1. “Defective” means there is an issue with the product’s packaging, the item was broken in transit, the item is unfit for its purpose or the item has passed its use by date. Defective does not mean the product caused an adverse reaction or allergy.
2. STYLE STORY will be responsible for return shipping costs if the defective claim is confirmed to be valid. We will cover the costs of return courier and arrange for a postage paid courier slip to be sent to you to attach to your return.
3. In cases of defective return, STYLE STORY will provide a replacement item where available or a refund.
4. STYLE STORY will reship replacement or repaired items using standard shipping regardless of the shipping method used in the original order.
No Refunds Resulting From Changes In Currency Rates
In the event of a refund to a customer who had previously paid in a currency other than Australian Dollars, and such refund was made through the customer’s credit card or PayPal, then the credit card issuer or PayPal would determine the applicable exchange rate at such time as provided above.
How Long Will My Return/refund Take?
For returns via post, products typically take 2 to 7 business days to reach us. Once our warehouse receives your return, it will be processed within 4 to 7 business days. Your bank may take a further 3 to 5 days to clear the funds back into your account..
