Prep your skin for the rest of your routine and drench your skin in dewy hydration.
Remember The First Toner You Ever Used?
Full of alcohol, astringent and capable of taking every last drop of moisture in your skin with it?
So the good news is that Korean toners are nothing like that.
These days, toners go way beyond just treating acne. Thanks to K-Beauty’s goal of hydrated skin, toners from Korea address a wide range of skin concerns without stripping your skin of much-needed oils.
Who should use a Korean toner?
Everyone!
No matter your skin type, there's a Korean beauty toner that is perfect for you.
Toning your skin after cleansing is a must. They help rebalance your skin’s pH levels after cleansing and help to increase absorption of other skincare products you apply next.
Unlike western beauty toners, Korean toners come in a variety of textures from watery to more viscous. They also contain different active ingredients like birch sap, hyaluronic acid and more.
How and when should I use a toner?
How you apply your toner to make the most out of it will depend on your skin type and if you have any skin concerns. If you have oily or combination skin, it is recommended to use a cotton pad and gently sweep it around your face to pick up any excess oil and impurities.
If you have normal, dry or sensitive skin, use the palm of your hands and gently tap to promote absorption.
For those with very dry skin, you can soak a sheet mask or a few pieces of a cotton pad in your toner, then apply and leave on your skin for 5-10 minutes.
