Korean skincare perfected the art of cleansing with the Double Cleanse method. This involves cleansing twice for maximum results.
Simply cleanse first with this balm and follow up with a foaming or water-based cleanser for bouncy, hydrated skin. You won’t need makeup wipes or a makeup remover! Double cleansing is the key to clean skin – minus the irritation.
Bare Skin Balm combines antioxidant-rich Australian Lemon Myrtle with dreamy Sea Buckthorn Oil to melt away oil-based impurities like sunscreen, makeup and excess sebum while nourishing the skin with antioxidants, fatty acids and Vitamin E.
Subi's super-effective formula is 100% free from alcohol, silicones, mineral oil, synthetic fragrances or colours, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, PEGs, TEA or phthalates.
Lemon Myrtle has amazing benefits for mature and oily skin. It works as an astringent to help tighten pores and reduce irritation. Its antibacterial properties can assist with acne.
An amazing and versatile ingredient, Sea Buckthorn oil is ideal for everyone from acne sufferers to those with mature skin and wrinkles. Containing 12 times more Vitamin C than an orange, it has antioxidant and skin brightening benefits.
Not only is it hydrating, Vitamin E is also a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage in skin. It helps to nourish and protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals. It helps to support a healthy skin barrier function.
Amazing cleansing balm! I love using this gentle cleanser on days my face feels congested. Love how it feels!
Hi Patricia, Thanks so much for your five star review of our Subi Bare Skin Balm! We are so glad to hear this balm is helping your skin. STYLE STORY xx
I absolutely love this product. I have dry, sensitive skin, and I love this gentle oil cleanser.
Funny story. As a blogger, I’ve tried many cleansers, but I hadn’t gotten any oil or balm cleansers lately, and before I had the opportunity to apply to the tester club for this product, I was literally infusing dried lemon little in some oil so I could make by own emulsifying balm cleanser. Of course, I couldn’t be bothered getting my soap making stuff out of storage to clean and sanitise (then clean after and put back), so it never got made. I was so eager to use a balm cleanser in winter because my skin gets really dry and easily dehydrated, so the Subi Bare Skin Balm couldn’t have come at a better time! A tiny amount, melted in my hands, applied to my face after hours of wearing sunscreen, gently massaged then a splash of water to emulsify and really get in there, a warm towel later and my skin is clean with no traces of the day left! It takes off everything and is super gentle with a subtle lemon drop fragrance. I love it!
The Subi Bare skin balm has been a perfect 1st step first cleanse for me in my nightly skincare routine! It removes both spf and makeup and only the smallest amount is needed. It is filled with amazing ingredients and my dry sensitive skin loves it! It doesn’t sting around my eyes and I love that my skin feels hydrated and soft after every use!
I have tried a few cleansing balms previously, some I loved and some I don't, thankfully, I fell quite in love with this one! I'm so glad that I tried it out. Subi Bare Skin Cleansing Balm is really a luxurious sherbet type cleansing balm. It smells like a lovely lemon tart. When I first scoop it out, it has a harder balm layer on top but softens and melts into the skin as I massage it slowly onto my skin with my finger tips. The cleansing balm emulsifies when rinsed with water and works well to take off any makeup, dirt, oil and sunscreen easily. Once fully rinsed off, it leaves my skin feeling soft, fresh and cleansed without stripping my skin of its natural moisture. Even when using it to remove my eye makeup, it does not sting or irritated my sensitive eyes so that is definitely a huge plus in my books! I do usually follow up with a gentle second cleanse (pump type foaming cleanser or hydrating gel cleanser) for a thorough cleanse. However, this is one cleansing balm that I feel I can get away with just using it on its own for days when I am super lazy. It does an amazing job at cleansing but does not irritate my sensitive skin or break me out. I have been using it every night (whether or not I am wearing makeup) and I am loving it! The only down side that I can think of is that it only comes in 80g volumn despite the relatively big jar size. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a gentle but effective cleansing balm.
