What Is It?
The Korean Double Cleansing Method is a two-step cleansing process. It involves washing your face with an oil-based cleanser first, followed by a water-based cleanser second.
Using two different cleansers at night is perfect to remove makeup, dirt and build-up for cleaner, softer, and smoother skin. It can also assist with the prevention and spread of blemishes.
Step 1: Oil Based Cleanser
The Korean Double Cleanse Method starts with an oil based cleanser, applied to dry skin.
The cleanser can be in solid or liquid form and is used to remove oil-based impurities and water resistant makeup. Not only does it gently draw out debris and pollutants without the need for harsh scrubbing, it also prevents tugging at the skin. Harsh cleansing isn’t great for your pores.
Cleansing oils are perfect for all skin types because they work with the natural oils in your skin. Unlike other cleansers, they also don’t sink into your pores or strip your skin, which dries it out.
