The Dr Jart label comes from humble beginnings at a Seoul skin clinic in 2001, where Dr Sung Jae Jung, a young Korean dermatologist was running his own clinic, creating and testing products for his patients. Recognising the potential of these products, a close friend suggested that they start a skincare line, and three years later, the two men launched Dr. Jart+
The name Dr Jart+ is a nod to both Dr Jung, and the art of skincare. The label has enjoyed enduring popularity in both Korea and abroad thanks to its range of cult products.
