Beauty Sales Data Reveals the Changing Beauty Trends in March  

• Sales data has revealed how beauty trends are changing in post-pandemic Korea
• In March, sales of "shading, cheek and highlighter" (products that add contour to the jawline or vitality to the face, nose bridge and cheeks) increased 160% year-on-year. 
• People are also focused on so-called "persistence cosmetics" (products that will help their makeup last the distance)
• Sales of primer and products to increase the adhesion and durability of makeup are up 370% compared to the same period last year 
• Powder and pact transactions nearly doubled 
• This is likely because Koreans are taking off their masks and returning to gatherings for spring, office get-togethers, and so they're looking for products that will stay in place throughout the day
