With the hot summer weather Down Under taking its toll on her skin, Aussie Beauty Blogger Rosalind road tested one of STYLE STORY’s favourite refreshing face masks for summer, Tosowoong’s Pure Aloe Mask. Rosalind shared her review:
Tosowoong Pure Aloe Mask – a K-beauty face mask.
There are three key ingredients – aloe vera, niacinamide and adenosine.
Aloe Vera
A cactus plant known for its “wound healing and skin soothing properties. It is also moisturising, hydrating, anti-inflammatory and rich in nutrients.”
Niacinamide
“for brightening skin tone”
Adenosine
“to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles”
“The thick cotton sheet mask is sufficiently soaked with essence, that felt light and watery but did not drip or made a mess. Immediately, I noticed the cooling effect on my skin and the fresh, slightly sweet fragrance of aloe vera…”
“After 15 mins, my skin felt cooled, refreshed, moisturised and plumped. My skin was glowing, with brightened skin tone.
I pat the remaining essence into my skin and used the remaining essence on my neck, arms and legs, as suggested.
It absorbed easily into the skin, leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft, without any stickiness.”
“I was pleasantly surprised with how much I love the mask and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those with oily, dehydrated skin types and during hot days when the skin needs some pampering and cooling down.”
“I will definitely repurchase this in the future. Tosowoong has definitely captured my attention and I’m looking forward to try out the Tea Tree version. I’m also very curious about the Propolis and Snail face masks!”
