The Magic Snow Cushion from up-and-coming K-Beauty brand April Skin blew up a few years ago on social media and has exploded into mainstream popularity since then.

Today, we’re giving our April Skin Magic Snow Cushion White review.

What Is A Bb Cushion?

BB Cushions are essentially cushions soaked in BB Cream inside a compact that come with their own applicator puff.

They are one of the more recent makeup innovations to come out of South Korea, with technology that has been copied by western beauty companies, including Lancome and Dior.

What Does It Do?

April Skin’s Snow Cushion contains an SPF and claims to totally cover blemishes and imperfections without caking or flaking.

It’s suitable for dry and combination skin types.

What’s In It?

Iceland Mineral water (60%) – nourishes skin and has a beneficial effect on blood circulation, activating the process of blood renewal to help flush toxins.

Propolis extract – an antioxidant that boosts skin’s immune system by soothing and promoting regeneration.

Honey extract – rejuvenates skin by conditioning and moisturising it.

Shades

The April Skin Snow Cushion comes in 3 shades – 21 Light Beige – for ivory and very fair complexions, 22 Pink Beige – for skin with pink undertones and 23 Natural Beige – for lightly tanned complexions.

The Verdict?

This cushion is up there with the best.

It does exactly what it claims on the packaging – covers blemishes, doesn’t cake or flake and gives you flawless looking skin. The coverage is high compared to other cushions, but the formula doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts. This cushion also noticeably brightens your skin.

If you prefer a matte finish, it works well when set with powder.

It lasts without touch-ups for about 5 – 6 hours, but doesn’t flake or clump if you need to retouch it throughout the day.
