Whether you can add additional exfoliating products on top of an acidic toner will depend a bit on your skin type and how frequently you’re exfoliating. 

Some people can definitely get good results from mixing exfoliants and others find this causes irritation, redness, peeling, flaking etc

I would start off slow, with just the one method of exfoliation and then test out using a scrub / peeling geletc once a week.

The peeling gauze pads probably won’t be necessary because a lot of them are designed to be used in place of toner.
