Publicly Listed Korean Cosmetic Companies Grow 0.9% In the Third Quarter of 2023
- Korea's publicly listed cosmetics companies have begun to improve their performance in the third quarter of this year, with sales, operating profit, and net profit all increasing.
- The risk caused by China's delayed recovery is still a burden on the performance of companies that have a high proportion of Chinese sales, but the recovery of domestic consumption following the pandemic and diversification / export are believed to have paid off.
- 32 companies saw operating profits increase, including Coreana, Tony Moly, Korea Cosmetics and Cosmax BTI.
- Diversification and export to regions such as the U.S. and Japan have assisted some companies

Question of the Week: I’ve got a crop of milia on my neck that won’t budge no matter what I do. What do you suggest?
Milia happen when dead skin cells don't get sloughed away. Instead, they get caught under the new skin, harden, and form a keratin plug (known as a milium). Retinol can to help break down the keratin plugs. Apply a thin layer of retinol cream to the affected area each night. If you notice any signs of irritation, pull back on your usage.
