The biggest difference I would say is that the Glow Recipe one is actually a sunscreen, whereas the Heimish one is a primer that contains sunscreen.It’s a tone-up cream.
The reason I say that has to do with the amount you’ll apply. If you’re using it as a base you’re very unlikely to get the stated level of sun protection because using the correct amount may look a little much under makeup. In addition, Heimish's product isn't waterproof or sweat resistant.
However, both have a nice pearly finish and work to boost your skin's glow, hydration and skin tone with sun protection.
The only other caveat I would make around Heimish's product is that the UVA protection is lacking for a true sunscreen product and it doesn't meet international UVA standards for SPF 50+ sunscreen:
- PA +++ equals a 8–16 UVA-PF (88– 94% protection against UVA rays)
- UVA is huge factor with hyperpigmentation, melasma and general aging of the skin.
- Minimum UVAPF EU requirement for SPF50+ sunscreen is at least 20.
