2020 was a massive year for many reasons – from the Aussie bushfires and COVID to the launch of STYLE STORY’s first in-house brand Jelly Ko, both me and the team at STYLE STORY spent another year discovering, curating and reporting on all the latest K-Beauty crazes from Korea!

January

• Aussie bushfires and bushfire donation – we donated $5 for every order received
• Behind the scenes we were working really hard on product development. We’ve had so many false starts over the last year already with products that we developed and weren’t happy with. We’ve had to change suppliers multiple times.

February

• Launch of APLB’s Vitamin C and Glutathione line

March

• COVID and office shutdown

April

• STYLE STORY recorded its biggest ever month of sales

May

• The Korean Beauty Show podcast officially launched
• Maskne started becoming a big problem for a lot of people

June

• Big month working with consulting clients in Korea looking to manufacture products for their own brands
• Launch of Purito’s unscented line

July

• Podcast hit 2,000 downloads

August

• Product launches

September

• STYLE STORY’s 6th Anniversary of launching online
• Launch of Jelly Ko’s first product Bubble Tea Steam Cream

• Best of K-Beauty Awards
• The podcast officially hit 10,000 downloads in 96 countries
• Launch of Jelly Ko’s silicone brush

November

• Launch of Cherry Blossom Sleeping Mask
• Epic Black Friday Sale – with 20% off site wide

December

• Podcast hit 15,000 downloads
