Beauty Expo Wrap-Up

Beauty Expo Australia 2025

Beauty Expo Wrap-Up

We are still buzzing after a big weekend in Sydney. Founder and resident K-Beauty expert Lauren Lee spoke on stage about current K-Beauty trends in aesthetics and skincare with Dr Gordon Ku and Dr Jimmy Wang in between manning the Jelly Ko booth with our team and most exciting.... we did a full month of sales in just 2 days!

On Stage: K-Beauty Trends

Our session explored where aesthetics and skincare meet in Korea, and how clinical grade actives are shaping daily routines. It was the perfect chance to highlight what makes Korean innovation both practical and exciting for real skin.

At the Booth: What Sold Out

The response at our booth was incredible. These products led the weekend.

Cherry Blossom Sleeping Mask

Sold out on Day 1

We thought we bought enough stock of our lightweight jelly overnight facial-in-a-jar but it was gone before Day 1 was even over. Crowds loved that our chemist-formulated mask contains a functional amount of adenosine and niacinamide, along with cherry blossom extract, panthenol, ectoin and more.

Sold out by Day 2

The product we least expected? Our Lip Mask. Online, it's a steady seller but never #1 despite having won a Best of Beauty Award last year. In person? People tried it once and it was gone in 48 hours. We completely sold out. Fans loved the little scoop that doubles as a mini eye gua sha tool as well.

Top seller overall

Our hero moisturiser for dry, dull and dehydrated skin that's sold out 6 times globally was a hit among glass skin lovers at the Expo. It delivers long-lasting comfort with a soft, dewy finish.

If your favourite was sold out at the expo, you can still order online.

The Surprise?

Our booth wasn't packed with the same people we see online. There, most of our customers are 33–45. At Expo however, the average age was even higher. It goes to show that our mature skin customers don't just want clinical looking jars - they want functional skincare that sparks joy too.

The Best Part

The highlight was meeting so many people who had heard the buzz about K-Beauty and wanted to experience it for themselves. From sampling our formulas to learning more about the science behind them, the curiosity and openness were the best part of the weekend.

What Comes Next?

This weekend confirmed what we see every day. People with dry, dehydrated, dull or mature skin want formulas that work and textures that make skincare enjoyable. That is why we created Jelly Ko. If you missed us in Sydney, we have more events planned. Until then, explore the range below.
