As we do every year, this year we asked our STYLE STORY community to vote for their favourite Korean beauty products. On today's episode of the podcast, we'll run through the results.
K-BEAUTY NEWS HEADLINES - KOLMAR WINS AWARD FOR COSMETIC PATENT TECHNOLOGY
Kolmar Korea won the "King Sejong Award," the first patent technology award in the industry, for patents related to cosmetics technology.
The company's "peptide design technology" specialises in binding skin cell receptors. It finds and accurately absorbs damaged target cells to offer barrier strengthening, whitening, and skin regeneration. Using this technology, the skin whitening efficacy is accurately delivered by targeting only damaged cells that require whitening effects. This maximises the effects.
This technology was conceived in drug delivery systems, which are mainly used in medicines. Kolmar used the same principle so that the main ingredient targets certain cells, while ignoring healthy cells.
