While this does leave my skin nicely clean and it isn't overly harsh, I dislike the texture. It's meant to be a scrub to apply to dry skin, massaging for a minute or two, before washing off. However, I find it feels quite scratchy (sensitive skin) and I can get a little red from it - nothing serious, but enough that I've decided to limit my use of it to once a week, and I apply it in the shower so that it's a little watered down. Had this just been marketed as a scrub, rather than an exfoliating gel, then I would have known what to expect and probably would have steered clear. I'll keep trying it a little longer to see how it goes, as I've only used it a few times, and perhaps the finely gritty texture might grow on me, but I suspect I might hand it off to a friend with less sensitive (or oilier) skin. The upside is that the tube is quite large, so if you enjoy a proper scrub then it would be excellent value for money. And yeah, it does smell delicious, too.
After having tried so many exfoliators that did nothing for my uneven and dry & sensitive skin...on the recommendation of a friend I purchased this with little hope, The outcome and use of it though has been really incredible. Not only does this product smell really great, but it comes on well, is super gentle and overall a steal at $23.95. Lasts ages and makes me really excited to exfoliate haha.
