STYLE STORY IN GOOD HEALTH MAGAZINE
“Make way for the new beauty trend that’s taking the world by Storm!”
STYLE STORY and Founder Lauren were excited to be featured in the October 2015 edition of Australia’s “Good Health” Magazine.
FROM KOREA, WITH LOVE
Good Health Magazine’s Korean beauty special “From Korea, With Love” covered the Korean Beauty Routine.
They featured many of STYLE STORY’s best-selling Korean beauty products, including BB cushion compacts, snail cream, BB Cream, sheet masks and essences.
On one of Korea’s newest obsessions, the BB Cushion Compact, Good Health Magazine wrote:
“Cushion compacts combine the benefits of liquid foundation, BB and CC creams in one convenient case. The formula-soaked cushion and applicator pad create a light-as-air finish that covers imperfections, hydrates and brightens the skin.”
On Korea’s long-standing obsession with everything snail:
“It sounds unappealing but snail slime is the next frontier in anti-ageing skincare ingredients.”
STYLE STORY Founder Lauren even got a shout out – “Snail slime improves skin texture and hydration, as well as reducing scarring, hyper-pigmentation and irritation”, says Lauren, founder of STYLE STORY”
On Korea’s infamously fabulous BB Creams, which have been gaining popularity for years:
“Created in Korea in the 1980s as a way to heal and improve skin after cosmetic procedures, this multi-tasking beauty essential continues to gain popularity. “Unlike western foundation, BB Cream is intended to both cover and treat skin issues such as acne, sun spots and age spots. Korean BB Creams also have anti-inflammatory, anti-wrinkle, brightening and soothing effects.”
On the Asian beauty sheet mask obsession currently taking Hollywood (and the world!) by storm:
“Beauty devotees swear by the benefits of sheet masks, which have been trending in Korea for quite some time. The highly concentrated formula offers instant hydration, brightening and softening. Simply remove the product-soaked sheet from its case and press into the contours of your face, leaving for 15 – 30 minutes.”
On the quintessential Korean skincare step – essence:
“Korean women are dedicated to “essence”, a new innovation designed to increase moisture, re-energise tired skin cells and encourage deeper penetration of active ingredients. While an added steap in your skincare regime – it follows cleanser and precedes serum and moisturiser – the glow you get makes it worthwhile.”
