K-BEAUTY FACE MASK REVIEW
With so many different K-Beauty face masks on the market it can be hard to work out which ones deserve a rotation in your beauty routine and which ones you should prioritise spending money on.
Aussie beauty lover Adelia recently tried a range of K-Beauty face masks from STYLE STORY and shared her review of each of them with us.
Adelia road-tested the following Korean Beauty face masks:
WHY DO YOU MASK?
“Masking is the favourite part of my day- (it) forces me to sit down and relax. It’s almost like meditation!”
Tony Moly I’m Real Makgeolli Mask Sheet
“I’ve never used a makgeolli mask, or anything with makgeolli as the star ingredient in it, before (so) this was a nice experiment for me! If you don’t know, makgeolli is an alcoholic beverage made of rice or wheat from Korea!
The mask has one of the best fits I’ve seen from masks considering most are too small for my face, (a)nd the smell of this is so pleasant I could smell it all day…”
Tosowoong Green Tea Mask
“I had no reservations about trying out the Tosowoong Green Tea Mask at all because of how amazing I’ve found the other (mask)s from their range so far, and this one doesn’t disappoint!
The scent smells fresh, and claims to be skin whitening, which I didn’t find, but you’ve really got to be using it every day which I’m not… as always, (the mask contains) heaps of essence and takes ages to dry (out).”
Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack
“I’ve been using the Elizavecca pack as a moisturiser and it’s great in that role.
The jelly texture is endlessly amusing, and it dries in beautifully…”
Tosowoong Pure Aloe Mask
“The Tosowoong pure aloe mask is one of my favourites after I have a reaction to a new product!
The fit is one of the better ones out of the various masks I’ve tried, and it comes with so much extra essence in it! … it’s amazingly soothing for sensitive skin.”
